Icon6 What is this thing hanging from two option ports of the dash fuse box? (pic)

Aftermarket stereo that was installed when I got the car stopped getting power, so I was going to check the fuse and I see this thing hanging from 2 of the fuse panels connections. It looks like a small pc speaker.

Diagram names for these connectors aren't intuitive enough, to me at least, to see if this piece belongs or not.

It just looks too ghetto to be OE.

Thanks,
Jon

I would guess that is probably for an alarm system. Anything else connected to it? I don't know to much about alarms or how they work but that is my best guess.

That would be aftermarket.

So what part of it is tripping you up? Example; slot 3 is optional and will have power when the ignition is in the #2 position.

I'm still a noob and didn't realize IG2 meant ignition pos 2, ACC is accessory and BAT I guess is the constant power like for the headunit memory?

I was just wondering there purpose was but it sounds like Honda put them there for aftermarket parts to tap into a power source?

It's a headlight buzzer to let you know you left your headlights on

Ahhh, thanks!

I'll have to test it out and see if it still works.

Thanks everyone!

Before I did the integra ICU swap, I had the buzzer tied upon 2 of the fuses as shown in another DIY. This is an interesting approach though and I will have to remember that one.

Read my DIYs for a better setup than that lousy buzzer.
