What suspension for civic's is best for ride comfort besides stock?
Interms of springs rates..which ones are best for comfort?
And has adjustable damping and ride height?

Do you guys recommend any combinations too?

I'm really looking for a full suspension like the tein flex...money is not really a issue if it does't break $5000.00 my max I want to spend on suspension.

Best for a cushy ride? Stock. You'll want to look for soft springrates, which will greatly limit how low you can go.

Stiffer, even with the shocks set to full soft.

What will you use your car for mainly? Daily driving?

You really don't need to spend anywhere near $2000 on suspension.

For a daily driver alot of people are running KYB AGX shocks with Ground Control coilovers. The shocks are 5-way damper adjustable. If you want softness, get the Ground Control coilovers with civic spring rates. This setup would cost you around $600 shipped.

If you want an upgrade from that, go with Koni Yellow shocks and GC coilovers. This setup will cost you around $900 shipped.

Omnipower full coilovers in STREET

thy have a high spring rate from teh get go but if you preload the springs with about .75" to 1" preload they ride excellent and they make your car handle like night and day from stock. you can pick up a BRAND NEW set of Omni full coiovers for about $650 off of http://www.kteller.com and in my honest opinion, this has been my best placed money towards a car yet

i run my teins w/ the damping set to 8 [half way]. it is much firmer than stock but i don't feel it is too stiff to daily drive... ****, i live in NY and am always in the city. i like the teins. for the price [i paid the going rate of $945] the ride much better than many other setups i have seen...

i have a question too, i have a 2000 civic that i want to drive in the winter throught snow, but i want to be able to lower it for the summer. What setup do u think is best for this? I would want it to be comfortable since its a daily driver. thanks

best setup here... keep you OEM spring/strut combo together. even if this means buying new strut mounts for your choice of aftermarket strut/spring combo.

it's is so easy to swap out the strut for the winter months...

if you just looking to go alil lower with a nice ride, you would just be throwing away money going with coil over or adjustable dampers.

so a kit like the eibach or H & R cant be adjusted back to near stock height for winter months?

99% of this board should never spend more than 1k on suspension.

We have our Pro-Dampers now for Hondas, which are specifically valved to work with our Pro-Kit and Ant-Roll Kit. It`s a pretty nice, budget package.

I do auto-x and plan to do some HPDE's and the omni's will be more than enough for me....even through some spirited driving

I have eibach sportlines and tokico blues and i can't complain. I also did the rear washer trick for the camber and have a skunk2 upper control arm for the front

i had some friends who all bought tein ss techs at one point, it was a pretty cushy ride compared to say h&r race springs, pair em w/ some adjustable shocks (kyb agx, or tokico illumina's maybe?) and i think u'll be happy.
