What stock shifter is longer? 96+ or 92-95?

I have two stock shifters lying around that im gonna post up in the classifeds with a bunch of other things. One if from a 96 civic and one is from my 95 ex.

I put both next to each other and one is lke 3/4" (maybe) shorter. Does it even matter? i wouldnt think so but just curious.

exactly.

i know they should be interchangable. but just wanted to know.

if i sold one to a guy and sent him the wrong one and he noticed , they might be like wtf. so i thought i would try and find out.
