What springs for H22 in my 95 Hatch? (searched)
I tried to use search but i tried several inputs in the search. it seems like that the search engine here has to be used specially to acquire the information I am looking for. it keeps coming up as nothing found.
So... my question is what springs should i use? I was orginally planning on to get a ebay coilovers since they are quite stiff. I dont mind the stiffness. i already have kyb agx shocks in, along with es bushings.
should i get those coilovers? or not?

Re: What springs for H22 in my 95 Hatch? (VTECR021)
i have the ebay springs for an integra in mine. it handles a lot better with the h22 in there. they are a good way to get a quick temp setup. but if you are rolling in the loot, then get a full coilover system!! if not then why not ebay. they are def. cheap enough to quick grab a set then save up for something better.

ok thanks, I think i might as well stick with the ebay ones for now since im tight in budget too. and i checked that progress link, and it says that it will drop it 2.0 inches, im not sure if that is too low for me with 15's. I just dont want to not be able to put a jack under there, and do more work to get the jack to go under.

whats the point of doing something if you arent going to do it right the first time?

Re: (temp)
the ebay ones are going to sag hardcore over time and the progress springs can be had for pretty cheap from most shops or online and they were custom rated for the weight but like all suspension it will be a good idea to upgrade the shocks at some point since if it still hs stockers they don't last very long when the car has been lowered
2ins is a pretty basic drop and and unless you have 205 width tires you won't have any problems however even a bit higher with that size you may need to roll the fenders a bit for clearance

Re: (FF lotus)
I would go with ground control. Custom spring rate, depending on what you use you car for, I has a drag setup fooor my civic I had 600/1050 F/R. But I think that you can get away with a 500/600 F/R! Dont get the ebay ones you will reget it and the car will bounce all over the place. The G.C. should cost you no more than 400 bucks.

well you have to get a coil-over since all of the springs for your car is for the old motor and the new motor is alot heavier, get either a tein or a ground control with agx

I run skunk2 integra coilovers 500f/400r.
Progress sells spring for civic's with H series motors. They are 375f/200r. They probably ride better then mine for the street but have alot more movement to them. You don't have to buy any certain brand as long as there the spring rate and ride height your looking for.
