Re: what are some good cam gear for d16z6??? (TEAM JSJ)
I've heard nothing really bad about the aem ones, but someone mentioned that with the 3 locks versus say like the 6 on the skunk, it tends to score the metal because you torque them so much, 3 has more chance of slipping then 6 imo. Then again, 70 is nice to pick it up since its over 100 new.
Also, has anyone bought from inlinefour before? that price for the skunk2 sohc cam gear is nice, i need to dial in my camshaft, im wasting power atm.

Re: what are some good cam gear for d16z6??? (DarkKnight[DMD])
i'm not gonna say not to waste your money, but the cam gear itself isn't really gonna net you any gains without a cam. and unless you have a dyno to tune on, it is really difficult and pointless to adjust the cam. trust me im not hating on d16s or nething, cuz i have one myself, but the best bet would actually be to save up a lil more and get a good cam and keep the stock cam. trust me you will feel the difference with the zex cam. and i guarantee it will make a more significant difference than an untuned cam gear. good luck with your sohc man
