i have a 94 civic hatch CX . It has the stock 70hp motor and i am looking to upgrade . i was thinking of doing a mini me but the fact is that the stock CX motor is only a 70hp 8 valve multi point 1.5 motor . Will a d16 head bolt right up? will i be getting enough power or should i go with a d16z6 or a Soch zc vtec ? What single cam would be best to run in my CX . My cx only weighs 2055 lbs which is damn close to what a crx weighs . I will have a nice lightweight car . I need to know the best motor to put in this hatch for a budget of $1000 . I will still need to buy a tranny and an axle ( one of my axles are bad ) . My gear ratio in my CX sucks so i need to get a better tranny . My 2nd gear goes up to 70mph . Great for freeways but i am a drag guy . Help me on this .

You could buy a z6 with a tranny and still have plently left over for the axle (core exchange at autozone is like $70 or less).
