Default what is so awesome about b17 blocks

i've heard it's rare to find b17 what engine is it found on and like whats the horse heard of b16 h22a and all that what the expletive is so good if good.

As far as I know the B17 just came in old GSRs, I could be wrong though.

b17 came in the 91-93 gsr i believe or 92-93

yeah, they only came in the 93 DA Integra GSRs, only like 2k were made, i think they made 160 hp and 117 tq

There's nothing particularly "awesome" about them. They're essentially stroked B16's, but as others have stated, they're relatively rare due to the limited amount that were originally produced.

Only made in 92-93 in the USDM GS-R

The block is just a B16 block. What's "awesome" about these motors is the crank and rods which give you a very good r/s ratio.

The 92, 93 GSRs didn't have the dual stage intake manifold like the later GSRs.

didn't the B17 have an oil cooler, then it was eliminated in the B16? idk...

I just sold my b17a1 motor with 54,000 original miles on it. That came out of a old 92 gsr. Now thats rare

There's nothing that 'awesome' about motors other than what's been stated. However, I think it would be kind of awesome to have a built b17. You don't see those too often.
