the size of the intercoolers depends on power applications. How much are you planning on making? Believe it or not, FMICs are functional, and not just eye candy for people who, for some reason, love seeing them.

very true, and if this setup isn't going to be over 300hp I would stick to 2.5" I/c (charge) piping.

i want a big intercooler but i want to know what size will fit best. i dont like the small skinny ones. i might go with a height of 10 or 12.. but yeah im going with 2.5 in. charge pipe...... ill post some pictures up when the setup is done.

A big intercooler increases the amount of lag in a setup. Having a properly matched IC rather than an oversized RICER IC is the best method. I know its hard to resist the bling factor for those of you with ADD or the need to show off, but believe it or not, intercoolers serve a purpose. WOW, That's amazing!!

Along with having the properly sized intercooler piping -- in any turbo situation having larger intercooler piping than necessary doesn't help ya out.. Bigger isn't better in this situation.
