what size fitting for oil pressure sending unit
im trying to put in a "T" so i can use my oil pressure gauge i just picked up. i thought it was 10x1 but i cant seem to find a metric "T" anywhere. is there somewhere that sells a kit for adding a gauge. the T that i have is standard and i dont want to strip out my alluminum threads in my block

1/8" BSPT. Some people use a 1/8" NPT fitting, but it's a bad idea as the taper is different.
Don't use brass. The vibration will cause it to work harden and become brittle and eventually snap. Extra weight exacerbates the problem also. I have a 1/8" BSPT to NPT nipple going to a T with the stock sending unit on the side and my -3AN hose coming out the end for the turbo.
The preferred solution is to get a short (6" in so) hose, run it from the back of the block to somewhere more secure (somewhere else on the block, on the firewall, etc) and T off of that.
