i have a 94 civic hatch with a gsr dc header skunk 2 im edelbrock tb short ram intake i wanna know what size exhaust i should use and why???? thanks in advance!

Id say 2-2.25" at the max, because you still want a decent amount of backpressure to hold the scavenging affect. Which is in simple terms what sucks air into the cylinders thus making the motor more effecient. This is why when people get too big of an exhuast for a n/a setup they lose hp.

cool thanks would a 2 1/4 catback work with a apexi ws muffler with a 2 1/1 in inlet

You mean 2.5" inlet? If so yes the shop will just weld it on. I have a 2.5 inlet muffler on my stock exhaust piping, lol.

Sort of. You don't want back pressure; you want to maximize exhaust gas velocity.

I would stick with a 2.25" exhaust.
