Default What should be my first cheap honda project car?

I'm tired of dumping money into my Altima so i'm looking into buying a hatch or Del sol to hook up. Is there any types you prefer like b16 vs d16 or b20? Any hatches that have a better year then others?

92-95 hatches, depending on trim level came with d15b8, d15z1 and d15b7's. the Si came with the d16z6 vtec

some del sol's came with a b16a3 but most were either d16z6 or d15b7

A d16 and a civic with no rust is a start, then throw in turbo and it will be a fun ride.

I have had many and would say a civic is your best bet. Although i do love EF and G's, they are getting old, and finding clean ones often costs more than they are worth a lot of the time.

Find a clean 96-00 model. They are probably the best value for your buck, and are newer, and some crazy deals can be had. I bought my last 96 civic for $900

Civic's are light, so they are easy to make go fast, thats what makes them so popular

Yes but if you live in california you'll need real good luck finding one that hasnt been modded, is clean, or isnt waaaaaay overpriced.
