ok so i got 500 bucks to spend on some performance parts for the del sol and i would like to get a good horsepower gain out of it. not sure what to get yet,ive had my eye on an intake manifold and a throttle body . what do you guys think would be some good parts ?? thanks guys

i assume your talking about the car in your signature?
if so u should get Integra type-r or civic type-r cams and maybe a TUNE if u dont have one already. looks like u got a bunch of parts installed already thats why.

ive heard about getting a b20 block . but what makes it better than my stock b16 block?

umm maybe the .4 more liters of displacement...thats why. the downside is the thinner cylinder walls. but for an all motor b20/vtec it should be fine

get them used...maybe new from some places.

more torque, no replacement for displacement all my friends are into v8s so i hear that crap all the time but yeah IM and TB would be a decent upgrade then craigslist your old ones to make back some monay

Gains won't be very big, that just shifts the power around. Long skinny runners make power lower, short fat runners make it higher up.

a tune would cost around 400 bucks or so. so unless you have the supporting mods for that, me personally, i couldn't justify spending that much money. you can even get gsr cams. not as agressive as itr or ctr cams, but a decent upgrade from stock b16 cams. you could get a new clutch, tires. or even preventive maintenance. fuel filter, oil filter, plugs, wires, cap rotor...that sort of thing.
