Default what should i expect, performance wise ?

im thinking of getting my throttle body bore, port, and polished . i have a sirII throtle body . its 60mm. stock . it would be 64mm. meaning its goin to be bored 4mm. after the bore, port, and polished ! meanin its goin to be bore 4mm. over stock .
what type of performance increase should i expect ? is it goin to be noticiable ? i just want to know if its worth the money to go out and get this done . thanks in advance

edit: my mods are : aem intake, comptech header, cat back exhaust, test pipe
skunk2 intake manifold, b&m fuel pressure regulator, aem cam gears, ground kit im running a ITR ecu along with a APEXi VAFC .

i don't really think it'll be noticeable when you're driving. you might see some slightly improved numbers on the dyno though.

I would do it. I dont think is something you're gonna be able to feel, but it will probably still make a difference.

im goin to get it done by maxbore.com . i just wanted to know if its worth it . i goin to get my fuel pressure regulator, cam gears, and VAFC tuned soon and i thought it be best if i get the throttle body port and polished before the tuning ? am i right ? after thats done i was thinking of getting a lighten flywheel . but yeah .... mainly the question is is it worth it with what im goin to do or should i spend it somewhere else at the moment ?

what are your plans for this car? it'll make a small difference now, but it'll be a noticable difference if you have cams or fi.

Make sure you have your intake manifold done as well. You should send it out and have it extrude-honed while your at it.

i have a skunk2 intake manifold . whats the oppening on that ? would i have to get the intake manifold done too ? maxbore just does the oppening of the intake manifold , he doesnt do the runners . i just need to find out what the opening on the intake manifold is on the skunk2 manifolds .

You will notice better throttle response, but I doubt you will notice any performance gains. And no, you don't need to mess with the damn intake manifold.

If you plan to eventually boost this car, then do not bore it to 64mm. Talk to the guy at maxbore and you will see what he says.

the reasone i dont buy i bigger throttle body is because i think it be cheaper to just work on the stock throttle body . i might be goin turbo but im not sure at the moment . i'll be goin turbo a while from now . dont really have the money to get a turbo at the time .

It is cheaper. No point in spending the money on some 62mm ITR style TB anyways. Maxbore does awesome work. Send it out, be done.
