What should i buy next????
So i have about 200 bucks to spend on something, i wanna know what performance upgrade i should buy? I have a 96 civic ex with these mods so far:
Cold air intake w/K&N
99-00 d16y8 exhaust manifold
Airmass 2.5" exhaust
Fuel pressure gauge
upgraded ground wires
coolant bypass
shortshifter
16" rims
advanced timing
thinking what should i purchase for around 200 bucks which doesnt require tuning?
If i cant find anything at all performance wise, im going to get the mugen carbon fiber sedan wing. and or SI type tails, fuel pressure regulator, new axles, canards and ventshade window visors.

All I know is I don't think you need new axles unless you're going above.. i dunno 180whp maybe (??) (to be modest). Right now you might be pushing 140.
My suggestion: Look at your suspension. Maybe some new b00shings or keep saving and get some new shocks and springs. This is typically what is reccomended as the first mods. Then again a header is not bad either since you've already got an exhaust.

I do want to drop my car, but when winter hits, driving slammed is really bad. I really cant afford it.
And yes, the 99-00 manifold is a huge upgrade from my 96 cast iron cracked manifold, and along with the 4 other headers i got that didnt fit. Im sticking with oem on the headers. I dont think aftermarket will give me THAT big of a gain
oh and my axles cv boots are both torn, and it clicks really really bad when i turn....i may need them soon

Well then that's the answer to the question of this thread.
Don't buy some performance part over new axles if you need the axles man..
Next thing you know, all that "power" you got from those boltons ( ) will be used to spin axles that aren't even connected to any wheels.

Compare those to what a local parts store wants for a set of remanufactuered ones w/ a warranty. If you have an Autozone in your area I would quickly look up their asking price on autozone.com
And I am not sure about the ABS stuff but if thats a part that is needed fro ABS to function correctly and it's not included, find out how much to get a new one is, if it's too much try to find a set of axels w/ the abs ring.

like what most people are saying...lowing the car...get you a good spring set... example eibach or h&r or tien...etc
not consider as an engine mod, but a suspension mod

not sure about that stuff, but I wouldn't expletive around with ABS
Everything you do changes abs...
Increase or Decrease Rim Size
Size of Brakes
Master Cylinder
becareful with that stuff
