What should i buy a 00civic si or a 91 crx si
I have a 01civc ex SOHC V-tec. I have a choice in keeping the 01civic and buying a 91 crx si. Or selling my 01 civic and buying a 2000 honda civic si.WHAT SHOULD I CHOOSE. AND WHY??

Get the CRX. First off, its cheap as **** and IMO looks great. You could do a lot with the money you would spend to get the '00 Si... swap, suspension, wheels, brakes, bolt ons and body work. It would be faster and perform better. Thats my .02

i would buy the crx and sell your 01 civic. that way you can put more money towards parts for the crx.

get whatever car is appealing to you, who cares what people tell you. all depends what you want to do, you can make both fast of course. yes crx is hella lighter, but I think the Si looks better if you want to go for looks. All depends on where you want to go with this thing, anything is possible.

I would probally keep the 01 and buy the CRX and use the Civic as a daily driver and build a track car out of the CRX..
BUT on the other hand...
If you don't have much cash to spend, and just want a nice fun daily driver, I would get the Si....
this is all just my opinion though..

CRX if you are serious about going fast on a budget. With the money you will pay for a newer Si you can have a seriously fast honda. SI if a newer car with a back seat is important to you.

if it were me...i would buy the crx and use the civic ex as my daily driver and build a track car with the crx.
thats what i would do, its hard to tell you what to do because we dont know your budget or your plans in the future

well , the crx would be for the speed , cause you could throw alot of m0ney into it,.... but its not as cool looking as the SI , but **** , atl east youll smoke the SI after you swap and beef up a crx wih the extra money

Are you a safe driver? If you get hit or hit something at 80mph + in the CRX, kiss your *** good bye, the Civic si will hold up better in a crash, and will be more prone to getting jacked and is no where as fast.
I would love to have a done out CRX, u can get a CRX for like under 3k and do the engine for around 7k easy, and do 1k on the body, so you can be looking good and going fast. I would go with the CRX and drive safe. Alarm/Club/Lowjack ur ****, fucken car theifts are out in force.

imo...
if you buy a 00 si, it'll be around 10-14 grand give or take, and you'll still be slow but you'll have a newer car w/ back seats. its an ok car to have if you dont care much about power (of course it can be made fast if you have more money to spend)
but if i had 10 grand to spend, i'd buy a crx and a typeR motor...and a neck support

it really depends on what your plannin to do with it but if i had a choice i would buy a crx and built that thing up perfectly i use to have a crx it was my favorite car i regret it now selling it for a 98 civic hatch even with a b16 in it it's still slower than my stock crx and isn't as fun as driving plus i have to always drive a grip of ppl home but it looks alot better that's all i can really say. hmm... just dreamin of building a crx with 10g it'll look awesome.

get an SI, way funner to drive and it has backseats. crx is getting kinda old, and it's not all about going fast with a motorswap all the time. All there crxs here look like crap because Hondas tend to rust too easily in the rear wheel well area. I don't know why but yep, they just do. Get an SI and keep it clean it'll last much longer if you take kare of it since more than likely, you'll be 2nd or 3rd owner only. IMO, but do what you want.

if you want a rear seat keep the 01, if you want fun, nice, sporty car get the crx SI, very fun, cheap, and totally rip with even a b16 in it

well, I don't have a crx, but I have a 91 Civic Si, as well as a 00 Si, and I could tell you that after driving my 91 Si then getting in the 00 Si, it's like driving a luxury car. The 91 has no power steering and no A/C and the ride is a bit stiff with eibach sportlines/kyb agx's, but it handles better than the 00 Si and isn't that slow for almost stock. But nothing compares to the 00 Si with some nice 17's and nice suspension, especially with a greddy turbo kit. But I love them both and either way you go, you're making a good choice. Just my .02...

or the other option...get a ek civic put b18c5...well if i had to choose itd hafta b delsol......its hard enuf deciding whether to have modified ek civic or a del sol SiR
id say if you have about 8 grand USd then id buy sol SiR....
