What should be the first mods for del sol dohc Vtec
where to start
intake exhauzt then what makes the largers hp for the money
what year did the dohc vtec come in are they hard to find

Check past posts for what others with B16's have done to make power. 4-1 DC header, AEM intake, good complete exhaust. I would do the AEM first, it's the best bang for the buck.

I would do intake, header, cams! Probably get the most hp with that combo to start off...

swap it 
but seiously get soem good coilovers and good shocks/struts those will last you a while and make you fall in love with the look of your car. its kind of like starting fresh then once you start on the suspension you have a whole bunch of new ideas on what to do.

[change the final drive to 4.9 and you'll love your car.
your acceleration would improve a whole hell of a lot.

depends on what you want to do. Do you want all motor or turbo? If you don't know yet, then build the suspension and start reading to see which one you like best.

In response to the original question.....it depends what you want to do with the car. I started out with sorting the suspension on mine, then did a swap to a B16 (hydrolock's a bitch, eh!?!!!). Adding the bolt-ons is a good way to start to learn about your car too, without the risk of seriously screwing something up. The AEM or Iceman cold air intake (or DIY aka "Slatertake") will work well, and make nice noises if that's your bag.
