what probs will i run into swapping a jdm type r head on a U.S. B16 motor? i originally wanted to get the type r cams but i am very interested in swapping heads. i want a fast car but i also want it to be as reliable and i think swapping the heads will reduce risk than trying to put in just the cams; am i wrong?
i will get the hondata S200 unit also.
thanks for the help

No problems. But while you have the head off, I would suggest purchasing & installing a high-rev valve train. This is safer & will save you some time & cash down the road.

if he is only planning on putting type-r cams in then he doesnt need to upgrade anything, just swap the head, if it is actually a type-r head and type r **** in it then you wont sacrifice reliability or anything
