what is the point in cutting your civic's engine bay?

my friend bought a car and some part of his engine bay is cut LMAO!!!! looks so stupid and.. WEIRD! LMAO!!!! anyways here is a pic of what I'm talking about.

Hellaflush fgts do it do they can ride dumped and not hit the tower with the upper control arm

The new generation of Honda "enthusiests" are ruining it. Everyone is obsessed with being different, or to try to start a new "trend" they do the most idiotic things to cars. If they would just leave it stock and keep it clean, it would be different.
