When I did my auto to manual swap, the guy didn't connect my reverse lights. I was wondering what those wires were as well. I had to run the wires there from the tranny to where my old auto shifter was. Took me like 5 min.

ah, i had to deal with that sensor about two weeks ago. Follow the O2 sensor up to the connector that connects to the engine harness. Right above that general area of that wiring harness is a pin (right above the tranny). The connector of the sensor you circle goes there.

Also, if you remove that sensor, it's a great access hold to fill your tranny with tranny fluid. I used a liquid pump (can get on at walmart and get one for 8 bucks) to get oil in the tranny.

??? I just remove the VSS and do it from there.. No pump or anything needed. Just a long funnel.

I'm sure that'll work too. I already had the sensor out so it was easy to do and it only took a few minutes . And when I was inside the tranny that hold was an obvious fill point. To each his own.
