Well what do u want out of it? this is going to turn ugly.. overall b18c1 will be more comfortable for daily driving since it makes more torque and hp sooner than the b16b... it's up to you and what you want

go b16b, revs to 9k stock, makes pretty nice power(though it is later) and c'mon! its a CTR Engine! how many people do you know that have a CTR engine in their car?? it would make you a little different and if you ever upgrade your engine you can sell your old parts for more money than ITR parts. i say go b16b, buts thats my opinion. oh and this WILL get ugly.

that is exactly why you should hold off on a aswap until you learn everything you can, research is the KEY to success..if you really do a lot of reading you will realize which engine is best suited for you and basically keep you away from massive headaches

Re: what one should i get ??? (IM ALL BOB)
CTR=Civic Type R
ITR= Integra Type R
FYI the civic type r doesn't roam the streets of the us unless it is imported directly by a third party, integra type r's can be bought here in the us, but you can also get the JDM(Japanese Domestic Market) Integra engines which have more power than ours here in the US. i would def go with the CTR engine, add a little originality to this game we play.

Re: what one should i get ??? (lsvinny)
GSR Pros: more torque, cheaper ($3200), everybody has parts avalible for it.
GSR Cons: ?
CTR Pros: You can say you have a JDM CTR swap. 5 hp more.
CTR Cons: Cost more ($3800), have fun paying for parts, unless you swap a complete intake manifold, distributor, and ECU w/ USDM parts.
Lets see................GSR, IMO.

the web site says, it will bolt rite in, so what your saying is the jdm ecu won`t work with my ex. and if the ecu will work with my ex way would i have to swap out the intake, distributor, and ecu?
i`m leaning a little more at the B18C, i like torque.

Is your car OBDII??? meaning 96+. If so You CAN get the CTR motor. The dizzy, intake mani, and ecu WILL plug as long as you have OBDII currently in the car.
I could go into more detail but i want to see your reply.
