Default What oil to use for my 94 dx coupe?

I just got a Honda DX coupe, I guess nothing special base model. She needs an oil change and I am used to putting 20W 50 into my VWs , but what do you suggest for my newly aquired honda 180,000 miles, and going strong.

I just changed my oil, and I used 10W30 with a Fram Double Guard filter... worked for me.

Brother, I'm not one of the hot-shots (not yet, but will get there). I just bought a 5 Qt. bottle of some stuff called Dura-Tech I think... was on sale at Walmart for $4.82. Was in a hurry and was a bit strapped for cash this past weekend, so it had to do. Kinda felt bad replacing an OEM filter with a Fram.

For just a daily driver run something like Valvoline, Castrol, something like that.

BTW, Honda says 5W-30 but some recommend 10W-30 with higher mileage.

I say go with Castro GTX 5W-30 with a Substitute Quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer!!

Lucas Oil Stabilizer does wonders for my engine!
