I was dropping my gf off at home and i made a left turn, as soon as i did, it sounded like two springs pop on my passenger side rear tire........i think its the good ol' drum brakes but im not sure......anyone have any idea what it could be?? (btw, i have stock brakes on my 2000 civic lx)

Hmmm, could it have come from the front? CV joints possibly?

It's not uncommon for the springs to pop.. another thing you might want to check is your cotter pin on that side.. mine broke and i didnt know.. whenever i would turn backing out of my driveway it would make a loud popping noise.. i would check that just to make sure.. if it is missing the cotter pin then you can either replace it yourself.. or go to an alignment shop and let them do it.. it would be hella lot easier letting them do it.. you might want to get an alignment too if the cotter pin is missing..
