sometimes when i try to start my car it makes this not to loud grinding noise coming from the left side of the dash...i have a 95 civic coupe with a b16 swap...the noise is coming from inside the dash like under where the rpm's are at...but from inside...and when it does it the car doesnt start, so i turn the key back and try again and she starts...this happens once in a blue not 2 often...it was happening when i had the single cam too...any help would be appreciated...thanx guys

I think i know what youre talking about. Mine BUZZZEs in that same area once in a little while, but very rare. Im not sure what it is either.

Do you know where your main relay is? If you do put your ear by it and turn the key to the on position and see if its it.

and i bet the buzzing stops when you stop cranking.

yeah it stops...but it rarely happens tho
