Default what is this in my engine fuse box



called honda parts by me and they couldnt tell me, told me there tech said whatever it is comes with the holw fuse block only.. trying to figure out if its related to the ELD maybe..

what year is your car? I take it the users manual doesnt hint at anything?

user manual dont say, i think it might say its a diode but its unclear.

does it wiggle around at all, do you think you can remove it?

by the way - is there any correlation between your username and the 7808 8v regulator?

that is a diode. helms doesn't go into its purpose any further : (

also check your pm. you should be able to figure out anything else for your car from now on.

i can pull it out, i was at the junkyard lookin for another one, pulled one or 2 out of some 98 and 00 but they had different markings. mine is slighly chipped off at the top why i want to know if its related to ELD . cxshoe thanks, but the manual dont have much details on it

the brown thing under the red circled diode and a little to the left is the "ELD Unit"

you're all wrong.

it's actually a horsepower chip. You're car gets an extra 35whp just for having it.
