What muffler is right for my eg hatch?
I got a d15 eg hatch with a 2.25 exhaust and an annoying fart cannon im not too happy with.
Does anyone know of a good quality inexpensive muffler which is quiet in low rpm's and has a badass tone when revving.

Anything 5Zigen makes is pretty much quiet. Also Greddy. My personal favorite is the Apexi N1, but it might be to loud for you.

I dont know about quiet, but ES Tuning oval with a resonator will sound nice. Its not quiet, but it sure as hell is not "annoyingly loud". It has a nice low rumble and a great note at high rpms. Only runs about $110 and comes in black or polished.

That might be the case now, but i picked mine up at Inline4 (drove there) and they had the polished one I have now.

if you go cheap you will prly buy something that has fiberglass in the can... it will sound good at first but after a while it will break up and sound super raspy... going with a "name brand" exhaust your prly gonna get stainless steal or at least steal baffles inside that will last a hell of a lot longer... plus better sound.

That's what I'm saying! Hey, If ES tuning isn't in there, see if you can find some clips of it, and give that thread a bump. I'm trying to get it into the FAQ's.

Sounds good, or maybe I can borrow my GF's camera and a video of it on mine w/ cat+resonator.

what size resonator did you go with?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Where is jhpusa located? I want to say my resonator is around 18" or so, but im not sure. I just had the muffler shop toss it on along with a new cat/piping.

I too love my N1. Yes it can be loud, but if you dont get on it, its really not too bad. Once you go WOT, you can be heard for a great distance lol.
