why would you be selling a C5 and have a poll wondering what engine you should get for it with options like b16 and b18b??? those motors suck compared to the C5....the C5 is probly one of your best bets of all.......i vote stick with it!!!
if you even have a C5 that is!!!!!

Yea I don't understand that either, if you have a C5 why would you be considering selling it for a b16 or even the b18b or c1, doesn't really make sense.

that's what I am talking about, stay away from type R....I love guys with the c5 and think my b16 cant keep up...I personally love the b16 and it will be thee only engine I will use in a car I modify (got a sohc vtec swapped in my new work car crx...YaY)

are you dumb? u can use the same money to build the c5 to smoke the GSR motor that would've smoked your c5 motor.
wait for tom to jump on this thread. there was a GSRvs.Type-R thread. there are a LOT of reasons the type R motor is better, and all the mods u need to do to the GSR to beat the type R in all aspects will cost MORE than it would to have the C5.
why do you want to start off with a slower platform and make it faster? why dont you start of with a faster platform and make it faster?

if you're satisfied with 1.6 litres, you dont want much from cars. period.

I say keep the C5 - you'd be stupid not to.
Otherwise, K-series hybrid. You say it's "kind of expensive" - but it's not really all that much more than the B18C5 you already have, and you'll end up with more power and torque in the end than a 1.8L engine could ever hope to produce.
JMO.

So, if you already know you want to do a B18C1, then why did you start this poll?

Re: What motor should i get for my new hatch? (Kalokohan)
i say go with the k series swap. it would only be alil bit more after you sell ur motor and ur turbo kit, or you could maybe use the turbokit (replace a few parts with new ones nessacary) that would be great, but in all reality its your car, your driven it, and your paying for it so do what ever the **** you want
