nah, i mean how high can i max it out after modification to the valve train?
8,000? 9,000? 10,000? rpms?

after changing valve train, it's more or less the limitations of the bottom end (ie. rod bolts and rods) not to mention the ability to breath. your going to need a y8 intake manifold or something after market.

Whats the point of reving so high if the the power band drops. You'll need a cam that can produce power at high rpms. Most sohc make power between 8 to 9k at most. With my hondata my fuel cut is set at 8400, I've never taken it up more then 8k rpms.

set your redline around 9200 rpms with fuel cuttoff at 9400. then you'll have something to tell your little girlfriends and you won't lose that much power by over-revving . you know why honda put the limiter as low as they did? because that's where it belongs.
