Default what to look for before buying? transmission?

hii so i might pick up an ex/si tranny off some person on Craigslist for 50 bucks...yes you heard right 50 dollars.. so i was thinking to myself.. Something must be wrong with it cause thats dirt cheap especially for an Ex/si trans.. so anyways im going to drive out to check it out and i was wondering what are some things i should look for on it to make sure its a good transmission? i know broken cases and make sure it goes into every gear without struggle.. any other things i should look for i would appreciate it

Grab the input shaft, see if you can move it up and down, even then an ISB bearing is only like $20 from honda and the seal is about another $5 Generally it's really hard to see anything wrong with a transmission until you take it apart.

Btw, while $50 is cheap for an EX/Si tranny I have gotten them cheaper before, got one with known issues for $20 (was offered to me for nothing but I wanted to give my buddy something for it) Picked up a few Y7 trannys for nothing before as well.
