Default What is limp mode??? HELP

I've posted my main issue and got a responce or two but the question is still the same, WHAT IS LIMP MODE AND HOW CAN I RESOLVE THE PROBLEM??? Im not a mechanic but i know my way around a honda...but that doesn't mean i know everything, so with everyone in one place to see my question somebody's gotta be able to explain it in simple terms. PLEASE BRING ON THE EXPLANATION

Limp mode is the mode the ECU goes into where you can't rev past a certain RPM because something is wrong. Basically, it's the ECU preventing the driver from [freak]ing up his/her engine. Best way is to scan the ECU (OBD2) or check the CEL using the CEL thread at the top of this forum, and fix the problem.

Thats why I'm confused cause when I'm in neutral i can rev past 4000rpm and it's perfectly fine, it's only when I'm in gear and moving that it starts to studder like hell
