Re: what kinda pistons should i get? (doood)
i am defenitly building to boost, and i want to get the best out of the motor that i got. and my budget is around a thousand for what i would pay for pistons and all the works. i just dont want to make a mistake on the internals that i put in my motor.

It has less than nothing to do with the amount of boost you run.
You can make all the power stock sleeves will handle and then some with a Wiseco/Eagle combo.
And that is a good combo as well.

dont worry about the brand piston. JE, Wiseco, and CP will all do the job. Worry about prepping the motor properly, balance, hone, plasticgage, check all your clearances etc...

just make sure that your piston to wall clearance is within 4 thousands of an inch.( around that range) . to me thats the most important thing you have to make sure. And if i were you i would let the machine shop check that out for you.
