whatever you do, do NOT use a SOS pad. And yes, i've seen plenty of cars after they used the SOS pad. I mean, isn't it common since that you'll scatch the shiets outta your paint?

Pads that you'd use to wash dishes or wipe off a stove.

I use Zymol car wash and the turtle wax chenelle sponge to wash my car and it still looks like new and never had any problems with those products, peace.

It all depends!! do you want to towel dry your car, or just air dry? Do you have hard water? How dirty is your car: bugs, road tar, tree sap??? all these will lead you to different (intelligent) selections..
I use Blue Coral car wash solution, and I use both Synthetic/Organic wash mitts. I think wash mitts are best cuz they guard your hands from getting cut on edges..
Blue coral works good for even hard water, but you have to towel dry to get rid of chemical deposits.

I use this blue stuff (can't think of the name right now), and it smells like . I even tried spreading it inside my car on my vents so I could constantly smell it. But it didn't really smell the same the next day. But I highly recommend this stuff for the smell. Oh yeah, it washes pretty good too, but it's probably no Zaino!!Then after I wash my car with the smell stuff, I use the " Original California Wiper Blade" to dry off my car I love that blade as much as I love the smell of that blue stuff.
