shall i give you a stupid answer to this as well?
you might take it as being stupid as my last remark, but i got mine off of ebay for 12 bucks. no name. with urethane bushings, works well.

I have DC and it's ok...sometimes it doesn't go into reverse all that well, but I don't know if that's the shifter or not... pretty short throw though

i used the DC sports as well. the reverse thing is normal because i still experience it on my stock shift lever. i read on the internet that many civics have this problem, so it's not DC's fault. but i thought it was a good short shifter. firm throws that were VERY short. a bit too notchy, though, and this was on OEM bushings. i have since returned to the stock shifter with Prothane bushings and like it much better than my old DC Sports short shifter.

I don't know about that, I remember there was a debate about this a while ago, I'm not sure if it kills your tranny, but you have more chances of wearing it out quicker ??? I dunno

*edit* Forgot to quote... this is regarding the b&m ss... just the bar not the pivot/bar.*/edit*
I don't like how far forward it sits... it should be bent back towards the driver more... (I have one too).
Oh and I recomend the cheap one's off ebay... just make sure there's a pronounced bend in the top section so it's comfortable to shift... I USED to use my shift **** as an wrist-rest while using my car stereo... but now that's out.
But it's nice other than that.

Ive got the counterweighted BnM with the Skunk **** and it shifts very smooth and the throw is pretty short I had a hurst in my old car and didnt care for it, it was taller than factory so it was ugly and the throw was not nearly as short as the BnM
