Its pretty obvious its a stock mount painted black with a prothane insert.

Heres a pic of another stock mount with the prothane inserts.

i think they had a problem with backorder or something..

You were correct, that's Mike G's car from AM7. I took that picture about a year ago at Nisei.

The motor is rock solid, he doesn't have bad wheel hop.

And you're wrong. It's got plenty of go to back up the looks.

Trailor bitch? Maybe you're referring to your own car. And those aren't his words, they're the magazines. Furthermore, the hatch is not his only car. His N/A Integra can more than hold it's own.

His plans have changed dramatically. But I can tell you the power it makes now is awesome, especially for a street car.

We move them to the bumper to clear out the bay. JDM_JON of DOHC Garage is the magician that does the wiring work, and custom fuel set ups.

Too bad you're not in Orange County, would be interesting with his current set up.

He has both now, looks and power.

That's what was under the hood for the magazine photoshoot, but it's changed dramatically since, under the hood and inside and out.

Here's some old pics of the car:https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=742015

I don't know which part of this topic is my favorite:

The part where half of the know-it-alls keeps repeating the incorrect bullshit that the mount is an Energy insert piece

or

The part where the jealous bitches have to talk **** on the speed of that clean ******* hatchback.

Give it a rest. That car is immaculate - cleaner than my car for certain, and even *if* I had a faster car I'd never talk **** on anything that perfectly done. You guys can keep your fast **** boxes - I'd rather drive a slower, more painstakingly-done hatch such as that one in this topic over some beat-*** Maaco sprayed hatch with some nitrous'd LS VTEC set-up or whatever the King of your street races runs.

Please flame on, because it's my ******* opinion and you cannot argue against that. There's no right or wrong.

Well put. .

I think with HT, and the internet/Honda's in general, it's just an automatic reaction for some people to find some reason to put a car, or person down. I don't really understand why, but hey, this is a message board, people are free to express their feelings. I just wanted to set the record straight on a friends car. I hate to see people talking trash about a friends car, when he isn't here to speak up for himself.
The car was built in stages. The first step was a super clean bay and paint job, along with basic suspension and a few bolt ons. The next step was more advanced suspension, and a full roll cage. And now the final stage, more than enough power on tap. To do all of that in 1 year is pretty impressive in my eyes.

i agree, this guy has put so much time and money into this car, im sure he wouldn't appreciate people calling it a "trailer bitch" or "all show and no go", that car is a prime example of what a car SHOULD look like, he took the time and did it right, and above all, he didn't half-*** it, i don't care what any punk says, anyone can drive a straight line fast, but to do that, AND look good, is a serious accomplishment

Correct.
The magazine and his feature on Tuned Honda were both incorrect. The mount inserts are in fact produced by Prothane.
Sorry for not clearing that up earlier, I got carried away with all of the other garbage.
