Default What kind of milage do you get?

Okay let's get this settled to. I have seen people complain about only getting 20 MPG but, remember if you drive like a freak with your hair on fire of course your going to get crappy milage.

So, lets see where everyone is at.
Me personally I get anywhere from 18-20 in the city......I like the redline and downshifts.

I usually get around 27-29mpg with normal driving. On the highway, around 30-32 (could be better if I had a damn 6th gear ). In VTEC I get about 9mpg.

This is with a B16A in an '00 Si . . . only mod is a CAI.

In my '93 D16Z6 Ci-ic (all stock) I got ~29mpg with normal driving, ~35 highway.

max 4.5k rpm (thats what I cruise at - hwy)....street all below 4k rpm...no need for anything more in b-series.

the d15b used to get beat on...as the cam timing (d16z6 cam in d15 = 5 degrees) was retared so most of power started past 5k rpm.

my best to date mieleage was with the b16a + tranny + spoon program = 42mpg, driving behind a truck from toronto to ottawa + city + 100km back.

Fill tank....reset trip counter......fill tank again and divide trip distance by number of gallons you just put in the tank.

22 mpg but I think my E-brake sticks when I'm below 4000RPM, so I try and stay above that.

21-23

I really get anywhere from 18-24, but I tried to do an average. It really depends on how I drive. I usually get 260-300km/9gal. of gas(jdm cluster).

My biggest problem is that I always freak-out when I hit E and go get gas. I will sit at E for a whole day, and only fill up about 9gal. in an 11.9gal tank. I imagine I could get better, but hey I don't want to.

I voted for the "never found the gas pedal" one. But, I usually try to stay within the law . I could get damn near 40 mpg with my D16y8 if I didn't take it to redline very often.

This is disgusting. I really need to lay off of the pedal. For gas and clutch.

Does anyone know how big the gas tank is for the Civic VX (EH/EG)

I usually get around 200ish or less, damn re-prog'd ECU... And around 200 miles I hit the 8 Gal mark.
