What kind of carbon fiber do you have on the exterior?
Tried creating a poll... but still in trial status so it won't let me. *Grrrr*
Anyways, wanted to get a sense of what kind of carbon fiber pieces people have on the exterior of their rides, especially hatchback owners.
- Hood?
- Rear spoiler?
- Front lip?
- Eyelids?
- Fenders?
- Trunk lid?
- Doors?
- Others?
Thanks.

hood is from jdmshit, and it fits pretty decent. i have a pos aerospeed duckbill wing that i need to upgrade, but doesnt fit to bad, the clear on it is just junk and ive had to get it re-cleard already. the stuff from jdmshit ive purchased is pretty descent for the money. id maybe buy a differnent hood now though, as they've raised the price on the hoods about $75 since i got mine. id probably get a fiber images, or if i could afford one, a spoon.

I did give them a good review, but I have noticed the fit is not as good as it could be.

I was just up at Fiber Images talking to Albert (the owner) and he said most carbon makers don't apply an automotive clear coat. It's just a gel coat. I will for sure be applying a few layers of clear coat on the carbon stuff when I get my car repainted.

Re: (Kendall)
That's along the lines of what I am thinking of doing but I don't want to overload the car with carbon bits. I am considering hood, lip (if I don't do the C-West kit), eyelids, trunk lid and duckbill. And maybe carbon fenders and paint over them. I don't know. Would too much carbon be too gaudy?

I don't have any carbon yet but plan on getting the hood, spoiler(not sure which one I want, maybe spoon style) and hatch. I think more than that is not worth it unless it's a full race or show car...although it is always cool to have more/better stuff than the next guy.
