Default What hood is this?

Hey guys, building an all-motor car at the shop (isp karl's), and we can't figure out who makes this hood-- it's a perfect match for TWM ITB's w/ the scoop where it is.

That's fine, but we're not doing this for looks, but for function

I know it's an aftermarket hood. Jerry (from portflow) told Kyle (guy that needs it for his car) that he got his a pit crew in San Gabriel- it was the last one, and there is no name stamp on them at all.

Im going to be doing a reverse scoop lower on the hood to help cool my turbo before too long. Looks like it may be a custom thing on a OEM style CF hood.

its just like my invader hood chris, with the reverse scoop pushed WAY up towards the firewall. theres some kid here on H-T thats getting into making really random CF pieces, so you could try to get him to make one, ill look for the link and send it to you.

yea the hood at extremedimensions.com is close but that little scoop off to the side kills it.. in looked recently and saw a newer pic (old one was that endless hatch) and i freaked out when i didnt see that scoop to the side.. but then realized the pic is reversed and the scoop is on the other side but is harder to see.
i asked that guy who made his hood once and he said custom.. so i guess no luck.. i wanted it for some itbs also.. but i think were stuck with the gay one with the side scoop

To put all the questions to rest, I found out-- the hood was discontinued in '98 or so, and nobody makes it anymore. D'oh! Oh well, maybe we'll figure something out w/ a subaru hood scoop or something. Thanks for the help everyone.

If I was you I would just call around to see how much it would cost to have one custom made. It Might just be cheaper than you think and it will be exactly what you wanted. good luck.
