What the hell is up with my Speed Bleeders?
Ok, first off these things work great. Until now. I loosened the one's in the front calipers to bleed the brakes, but when I go back to tighten the bleeder screw, it won't close all the way. When I hit the brakes with the car ON to test if the screw is closed, the pedal sinks all the way to the floor and fliud comes bursting out of the nipple, even if the screw is ALL the way down. It's doing this to both of the calipers...It didn't do this before, just now...I know it's the right size cause obviously they were both working...WTF? You can't tighten them too hard cause they aren't as strong as the stock bleeder screws and they snap easily, believe me I know, ask my wheel cylinders . Anybody else have these/this problem? Thanks for any advice...

you got crud. Pull the speedbleeder and flush it out. Also check the wheel cylinder for junk also. It SHOULD flow/float out while your cleaning the speedbleeder.
I've never had the problem in 4+ years though.

Thanks for the info...but it's the front calipers that are leaking. The back wheel cylinders are fine. But in the front, when I unscrew them to bleed them, then tighten the screw back up, I can still press the pedal slowly all the way down to the floor, even with the bleeder in the closed position. The force of the fluid coming out is enough to shoot the rubber cap that goes on the nipple off of the screw. This is BOTH of the caliper screws, not just one side, and this has never happended before. I've used them for about 6 months. I might just get another set considering they are really cheap, but I had to put my stock bleeder screws back on, and the brakes are mushy cause I didn't have an extra person to help bleed them the manual way.
