What are good rims for a 2002 civic?

My friend has $1000 to spend on wheels. Hes not really looking for super light wheels to race, but he doesn't really want rice either. Its a black 2002 civic coupe. any ideas would be appreciated with pics if you got it.

He should get Spoons, but if he can only spend about a grand, maybe Slipstreams, even though I hate them.
