what gen is my b16a?
hey im reading that a b16a with the block stamp starting with 5 is the sir 2 and the ones starting with 1 are sir but the sir 2 has hydraulic clutch and obd2 and sir has cable and obd0 however my block stamp is "b16a 11*******" but ive got obd 2 and i have a hydraulic clutch any ideas? also it has no numbers after the a so im told its jdm

Transmission and sensors isn't the way to I.D. an engine, the most reliable is the head stamp.

"If", the 1st gen b16 was an auto, then yes, it would have been the weakest of all b16's with single valve springs and mild cams....I think only 150hp if memory serves right
