what fast engines fit my 1993 del sol?
i just want to know which fast engines will fit a 93 del sol. cuz im thinking of buying a new engine to put some ***** on it.

what fast engines...did you seriously just say that? There are no "fast engines," there are engines and there are cars. You can make any engine more powerful, thus making any car faster. Also, pretty much any engine will fit into any car with the right amount of work. Now that we have that cleared up, i would suggest the jdm spec b16a, great engine, fairly low price and will fit into your del sol easily... now, your year 93' sol came with either the 1.5 liter SOHC 16-valve four cylinder engine, or the 1.6 liter SOHC VTEC 16-valve four cylinder engine, the latter is the si version. Unfortunatly for you, your car was one year shy of the introduction of the b16a1 to the del sol, the engine was the usdm spec version of the b16a from japan. The usdm was toned down a bit, because of various emissions laws and stupid ****... with 160hp vs 170 from the jdm version, either way, i would suggest this engine in either variant. The jdm version will be a bit more pricer, but with more bang to it. both versions are available in mass quantities and should be easy to find.

This has been covered thousands of times and needs not to be covered again.
There's a big "sticky" post labeled "FAQ What swaps are available for my civic" or something to that effect - OBVIOUSLY you did NOT read that.
It has all the basic info you'll need about swaps for ur civic/del sol that are straight up bolt-in.
