Default What to expect from a K Swap in a 1993 Four Door

I've been looking around on the internet for a while to try and find as much info as I could, and I figured I'd make a thread to help.

What issiues will I expect when swapping a K Series into a 1993 four door? Also, how reliable will this swap be for daily driving?

Just as reliable as it would be in the car it came from. Expect to spend $2000-$3000 in parts to accommodate the swap.

I suppose I don't really understand your question when you ask "what issues?" Have you done any research at all? If you have been looking around on the web for a while you would have found all the information you needed without having to create this thread.

Additionally, there is a "hyrbid" forum and a "K Motor" forum on this site.

No there will be no issues at all only if you didn't cut corner. The only issue will be if you live in Cali smog emission is a issue upset you get it bar'd.

I am actually doing some research, but it's re-assuring to talk to other people about it as well.

I'm looking at having everything put in professionally. I'm wanting to use this car as a daily driver, and also not have to pop the hood and fix something every weekend.

as long as you put new parts in and drive the car good not every corner redlining your motor than there shouldn't be any problems. I had my swap k24 for 3 months daily drive 60 miles to work and it ran fine but I sold it cause I live in Cali and smog came up have to sell it.
