I have a Apex'i Dunk. My buddy backed my car into a curb and dented the tip pretty bad. I was planning on getting a new muffler soon, so with the money he is kicking to replace my muffler, what should I get.

Note that I was tired of the watermelon sized tip of the Apex'i and wanted something on the quiter side. I already have all the piping so I just need the the muffler. Are all mufflers universal as far as connecting it to cat back pipe? Do all companies sell theie systems with the option of the muffler only?

I was thinking RS*R...any advice or help is appreciated.

i dont like the idea paying high prices for a muffler thats been advirtised all over the place..all ur paying for is marketing when there are many others out there at half the price..i like one call d streetline..they have a stainless oval and round..straight thru design

I like the looks of the thermal mufflers. do they perform well and do they sound good? Does having the 60mm pipe from the Dunk make a difference? Also, I think those two mufflers will look good with my WS lip kit.

i have heard the thermal on a DOHC VTEC del sol and it sounds nice. it is quiet and tame untill vtec.

Another question: talked to a guy that has DX RS*R mufflers in stock, but not for the Si. What is the difference between a DX muffler and an Si?
