What Exhaust???
Hey guys,it might be a dumb question but i really need help in deciding what exhaust to get.
i got a 98 Civic Coupe with a single cam vtec,but im boosting after summer!
Im also swapping an LSVTEC as soon as im done with it.
Im thinking of goin 2.25 inches all the way but not sure how to end it.
So can i get an idea of what exhaust will sound nice not annoing loud and looks stockish??
Thinking of Apexi Noir, RSX S muffler maybe Apexi N1.....

If you are looking for a stock looking exhaust then the noir and n1 are out of the question (they look nothing like stock). Go with the rsr exmag that was mentioned already by Probot. If you don't want to spend around $500 for an exhaust then go with the rsx muffler.

the noir is flat black and sourta looks stock imo..
but ill look dor the rsr if its too pricey i might go with the RSX muffler...
has anyone heard how it souns?
does it flow nicley??

youtube has a lot of exhaust sound clips. The n1 is loud on anyones car.
rsr-r is nice if you want to spend some money. With a 98 civic coupe the rsx muffler will work, you'll need a skilled muffler shop mechanic do install it.
My 07 si muffler has a much shorter canister and has a bigger inlet. It should still allow for me to mount my swaybar and endlinks.

Yes, 06-07 si mufflers and any rsx muffler will be a good choice. Though with either you'll need to have a muffler shop put them on. Shouldn't cost much.

ES tuning makes great sounding exhaust, get the oval it sounded great on my friends civic.

Look int eh 06-current forum in the wts wtb thread, there are plenty of people getting axle backs looking to get rid of their oem ones.

probably because most are older I guess. On 6th gens the rsx muffler is a really tight fit, the canister on the si muffler really is 3-4" shorter.
