Default what engine should i use??

looking for a good engine to swap into a 94 hatch. want something that would be somewhat easy to find and not too expensive. something with good power and potential to put out high hp after modification.

B18C1, the gsr motor. My brother had one in a EG hatch. I suggest craigslist because ebay is HELLA overpriced for GSR motors.

Get a B20. Cheapest B series and it should be decent. Then save up and get a GSR or build something. Then you can keep the B20 as a backup. You can spin a bearing or something at the worst time. Have a backup plan....

OK, that be difficult and expensive... However, I second the H2B/F2B idea. H-Series = best price to performance ratio.

Go for a D-series and you will love it. The engines are cheap and if you this put a turbo on it you will have OK HP and you will still have fun =D

K series, but if you cant afford that then do a B20vtec. They are cheap, and make great power.

k is sweet if you have the ends. b will definitely suffice if money is an issue. boost is necessary either way
