Re: What engine should i get?
do a stock d-series rebuild, maybe a valve train up grade and find a decent turbo kit or piece one together. Great power adder and really inexpensive for the D

You should get a B18b, cheapest and best bang for the buck. You could always work up from there with a B16 head if you ever decide to go the Vtec route. Plus, I got one for dirt cheap...

Re: What engine should i get?
Hey, since you are in central jersey, my buddy is selling his complete turbokit, he sold his car and yanked it out before selling his car. Its only 3months old with 2000miles on the kit, Everything was brand new when he got it, Its a Greddy td04-15g turbocharger with a edelbrock/spearco front mount, Hks twin sequential bov, Rc 440 injectors, Chipped and tuned p28 ecu on chrome. It was on his 2000 civic with a y7. Basically a complete bolt on turbokit with all name brand turbo parts. no ebay $500 blow up in a month turbokit here. He wants $2000 firm for his kit, its basically still brand new, he never really beat on his car, he's more of the all show no go type. he's located 10 mins right off Exit 6 on the NJ turnpike and if you are interested, just reply to this post or pm me.

d16 turbo, or b16 if your on a budget...go to hondaswap and read the article on good and bad swaps it should give u a better idea.
plus what motor and wether u go n/a or turbo depends on your goals.
