so far i have a bare d16z6 head i have bought supertech titanium springs n retainers,aem true time cam,z6 camshaft, new valves,using my b7 valve locks, ordering z6 seals. what else is needed for my head? do i new valve guides?Also it might be a stupid question to some but im new to hondas this is my first swap also for my block i have king main rod bearings, vitara 75.5mm pistons with new piston rings, z6 water pump, z6 timing belt,z6 metal head gasket, b7 head gasket set. what else is needed for the block? a list of what i need would be nice i know i need a z6 ecu, oil pump, n apr head studs. what else should i get? i plan on turbo after everything is completed the swap i mean. thanks for reading remember im new i had a friend that was good with hondas but he is not much help right now with his new job o i have a 92 honda civic dx 1.5 liter sohc the engine is a d15b7 im using the block from the b7

what kinda tab does all this head work run just wondering?

i used a d16y8 head gasket z6 would be fine although i am not familiar with turbo setups. why would you order a b7 head gasket set? i believe the oil pumps are different z6 and b7 probably matched to the cranks which i believe are different as well. d16z6 timing belt is used for mini me. just my .02

Idk why I ordered it I already had it cause I wAs going to replace the head gasket on the b7 but never did so I can use the z6 oil pump with a b7 block? Did I pretty much get everything for the head n Minh mw swap besides the ecu n tranny o n the head shop that I called said they would put together my head n do a valve job for around 2 bills should I get a new camshaft n wait to put together the head or should I just throw it together n pug it in later I want to save up for a bisimoto camshaft first

i am going with no its not interchangeable but im not 100%, i believe the crank is different. hondapartshero sells harness for the mini-me swap. not sure why you would need a transmission other than if you want the shorter gear ratio ex is good si trans is slightly better i believe. i guess a run down, the d16z6 needs the vtec dizzy or a modded d15b7 dizzy. in a pinch head bolts can be reused. the compression is changed with a mini me, z6 intake is better i think the injectors are the same. there is the oil jet in between the two middle cylinders that needs to be removed.

the way i looked at it was with the mini me if it touches the head then used head specific parts (z6) if it touches the block use block specific parts (b7).

Bump
