I just bought a 2000 civic hatch, im looking to order a front lip but i know that the front end has been repaired and was just wondering if this bumper is the OEM 2000 Civic DX front bumper?

Also while im making a thread, will aftermarket suspension for an EG fit an EK?

yes the grill should be all black and the accents where the foglights would be should be black as well.

as for suspension deffinetely go with F&F or k-sport kontrol pro....PM DRFlickner on here and see if he is still selling k-sports, awesome seller and cheapest prices hands down.

yeah the coilover system will work from 92-00 civic. their suspensions are the same all around if im not mistaken.

no, you need spacer on the rear to put a 92-95 civic or 94-01 integra non-type-r on a 96-00 civic because the rear LCA bushing is smaller on 96-00 civic.

the ex bumper is the same as the DX hx and so forth, the only difference is the grille and an si has a lip from honda. and X2 on the suspension from 92 95 civic and 94 01 teg goin on a 96 00 civic, there is about a 3/4- 1" gap, use something solid, washers would work, but i wouldnt do that, im actually trying to find something to space mine properly( i have tokico illumina coilovers for 94 01 teg) also im not sure about 92 95 civics, but the 94 01 tegs have 3 little lips on the top of the strut up front that will be needed to be grinded down if installing in an EK.

All '96-'98 USDM Civic coupe, hatch and sedan front bumpers are the same.

All '99-'00 Civic coupe, hatch and sedan front bumpers are the same.

There is a thread showing the stock US bumper differences.

The grille and fake brake ducts should be a matte black finish.

This bumper is at the very least an OEM style bumper. If you remove the bumper there should be markings on the backside. They might be difficult to see at first. Try wiping the back of the bumper down to look for them.

This isn't an aftermarket body kit piece or anything though.
