thank you again dude. it seems like all the p75 ecus are automatic everywhere i look. does it have to be a manual ecu if i have a manual car? does it really matter at all?

It'll throw a CEL, but i'm not sure if it will affect driveability or not. With the OBD1 versions it was easy to convert them to a manual, as far as I know it can't be done with OBD2 ECUs.

thanks for all the information. so the way i figure it now...corect me if im worng...if im running the p28 ecu, and my engine harness is a vtec one...and my underdash harnesss is all spliced into...meaning the ecu harness is all taped up and spliced and cut (which it is)....my car runs liek ****...

so..if i find an underdash harness out of any 92-95 civic...and i install my non vtec harness, then i should be able to hook up a non vtec ecu directly to the 92-95 civic harness. am i correct?

Basically yeah, Your best bet is to pull the harness from a '92 CX hatch, any '94 - '95 civic (except VX) or any '92 - '95 EX/Si. Make sure the harness comes from a 5 speed civic. It wasn't mentioned in this thread the type of car the engine was in, now that we know its in a 5th gen civic, i'm going to retract some earlier information. Either get an OBD1 PR4/P74/P75 ECU ('92 - '95 Integra) or use a P06 from a '92 - '95 civic DX/LX chipped for a B18B.

well my p28 right now is manual. it used to idle at a perfect 500. then my iacv was clogged so it bogged on me. i cleaned iacv. it worked perfect. then one day it started idling high. when i fixed my iacv, i also replaced the intake mani gasket and tb gasket and cleaned tb, added a benne fuel rail and blox fpr. but it drove fine for about month and a half after all that. so idk whats going on.

well if it used to work perfect and then it all just went wrong lol, then it could be the spliced wires.there is so much that could go wrong with spliced ecu wires.u can solder the wires up if u cant buy the new harness right now.you would have to buy a solder though lol.

it worked with the spliced wires and all...the only thigns ive done were the bolt ons and fixing the idle issue. the ecu was the p28 the harness were the ones i mentioned and all that. i just have no idea what it is...and i have no money to take it to a shop to look at it....ive been so bummed out about it lately...everythign is going wrong with it..and idk...im almost tempted to sell it and just be done with it. but ive put so much sweat, blood, and tears into trying to make somethign of this car. im 19, yes i knwo what hard work for your money is, ive been on my own since i was 7. so yeah. but anyways, ik. ive done everythign i know and what people have said to me...buying the throttle cable and TB are my last choices. what could be causing the tb plate to stick like that thoguh? like if i pull on the rotor thing, liek you know when u give it gas it turns? anyways if i pull on it and let it go...itl snap back cuz of the spring and get stuck...and liek if im driving, itl get stuck...any ideas? ive cleaned the TB.

the throttle body "rotor"thing is suppose to snap back back then then stop at one point when the throttle body is closed.are u saying that it gets stuck before the throttle body closes?then u probably need a new tb.itll probably be like 20 bucks at a junkyard.im 16 and i swaped my motor at 15 so i know wat u mean, dont sell it haha.
