From the Search, it seems the P30 is the ECU for the Del Sol VTEC (B16A3 or A2 is it?).

JDM B16A OBD1 DOHC VTEC AUTO

the last three digits tell you if was auto or 5speed
if 50 and under is 5 speed anything 51 and over then is auto

THat doesn't sound too hot.

He said it could be used for an Auto or a Five speed.

Something tells me that's not right.

obd I JDM eg6 AUTO ecu
the last three numbers are a give away that its JDM because if it was american it would say "Axx" the numbers mean its JDM and since they are high numbers i think its an AUTO ecu. measure the ecu, if its like 7.5" long then its JDM if its 9.5" then its american

basically ur getting a useless ecu and 400 for ur shell. that all adds up to about 500 worth of stuff. the auto b16s had different shitty cams and **** so nobody will buy that ecu most likely. on this deal. get straight cash for your shell and call it a day

You have a ECU thats governed at 180kph ( +/- 114 mph). I don't know anybody who's liked their jdm ecu. Everybody I know that gets jdm swaps change out the ecu as one of their first upgrades.

i actually preffer the jdm ECU's over US ones. when i dyno'ed the two(p30 USDM and JDM P30) the JDM always made more power and seemed to run smoother. don't care to drive over 110 anymore, just gives you a reason to drive faster

i know u can do the resistor thing, but the fact is that a b16 auto is different then the b16 manual mainly because of the different crap cams. why would u want to use a ecu made for the same motor but with different cams??
