What is the easiest way to actually improve the performance in my 99 Civic?
I have a 99 Civic Ex with most of the basic little upgrades. It has exhaust from the headers back, intake, lowering springs, short shifter, and so on but, I am looking for an upgrade that will actually improve the power a little bit without changing the motor or something expensive like a turbo. What do you suggest that i do to it next? And how bad is nitrous on a little D16Y8 motor?

If you really want reliable power go for a swap, but until then use that NOS till the D16 blows then do the swap! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

theres really only 2 things you can do to gain decent power on a d16y8 and thats gonna be turbo or nitrous. research nitrous in the forced induction thread.

If i was stuck with your setup and i wanted some more power, I would get a cam, cam gear and hondata.
